I am excited to share this video with my elementary students. They often ask me how instruments are made and I do not know too much about it. This video will be able to meet their needs and their thirst for knowledge in that area. I am excited to find more resources like this that will help me be a better teacher.

Wk 4 Free Choice Post - Video on making the violin
I was exploring various You-Tube videos that could be of use to me in teaching. I had not really explored what was available, and I just wanted to see what was available in terms of teaching aids in the areas of music history, music theory, etc. Before taking this masters program, I would never have even thought of looking for this sort of thing. There is so much out there in terms of Web 2.0 tools and the Internet that can aid me in my teaching.

Elyse,
ReplyDeleteYoutube is truly great. There are so many teaching tools available on that site for us to learn and grow from and also share with our students. Not too mention the plethora of tutorials available as well. I am constantly on the lookout of videos which will assist me in becoming the best I can be....as a person and as a teacher. Good luck in your journey!
Great job, and thanks for all of the YouTube diversions... I'm so easily distracted by interesting videos. thanks. :-)
